As someone with a Cab M (soon to be M+) and a Le Clean, now what do I do? Now that Cab M+ is a preamp, do I now have two separate preamps? I don't need both anymore. Do they still work together? I will almost always go direct to the PA.

Thanks for getting in touch. Ross from Two notes here. You can indeed use both together which would give you the benefit of having an analog tube powered preamp and our class-leading cabinet and power-amp simulation from C.A.B. M+. Simply connect the line out of the Le Clean to the input of C.A.B. M+ and disengage the preamp emulation on C.A.B. M+ and you are set! If you have any questions concerning this, we are here to help!

@@RossDaviesTwoNotes Thank you. I post ed the question on more than one video to raise my chance of getting an answer. That was very prompt. Appreciate that.

So many great artists showcased. You have truly shaped the future of tone. Twonotes FTW!
🤘🏽
All the cabs!!! (And anything else thats cool) twonotes FTW!!!
How does it sound using the built-in headphone output?
Ross from Two notes here. The headphone output sounds great but really this is dependant on the headphones you are using - I personally tend to use the DT900Pros and they sound fab! If you have any other questions, dont hesitate to let me know!
Dearest Two notes: Is it "Amp-->Two Notes"OPUS"-->Loadbox-->Speaker OR...............................Is it "Amp-->Loadbox-->OPUS-->Speaker? And finally what jacks use (speaker cable)?? Thank you so much for your help in advance because I am "dead in the water" ntil i know the safe way to cable this
Good morning Tim, You dont have to use a loadbox in this scenario - unless you are looking to attenuate your signal post OPUS. Let us know if this is the case and we can advise accordingly. Thanks so much!

had the honor of meeting Rutan twice, no joke one of the nicest people i’ve ever met, and talked to me about guitars and gear for like 30 minutes
Thanks for getting in touch - Ross from Two notes here. Indeed, he is a total legend and an all-round good guy! Killer player too! :)
All the Strings!!! Er ah I mean cabs… wait both?
Dino blues🤘🏽

Glad to hear you like it Christian! :)
I am trying the demo version of Genome as a bass player. Very impressed by the sound I got, but I view some gaps: the presets are not as good as guitar presets and 2 mandatory fx pedals are still missing: envelop filter & octaver.
Genome, tone bigger than those socks!
It will Djent!
All the tones!!!
I own it, it’s worth it. It brought my tube amp back to life. So many options internally, and externally. It does everything an OX does but it’s like 1/6s of the cost. Im running a line in, into my rock crusher and DI out into my interface so I can use headphones. It gives almost no excuse to purchase anything else once you get this! lol Sounds amazing.
Hey Patrick, Ross from Two notes here - sounds like a killer rig! We're so pleased that OPUS is working out well for you! Thanks for the support!
@@RossDaviesTwoNotes Hey Ross, no problem! yeah my rig is looking pretty killer now with the Opus. And thanks for this video. It was helpful to better understand the different methods as to how it can be hooked up!
@@patricklong9227 No problem at all - if you have any other questions, we are here to help!
I have one of these and it’s really flexible with the various ways you can use it. I think Two Notes products in general are great. However, although there’s instructions in the user guide online on setting defaults regarding boost and the three channels, only the individual who wrote instructions would be able to follow them. Another point is that some people are colour blind so tube colour will change etc, does not help. You should make a clear video on setting up defaults like boost etc. That would be extremely useful.
Thanks for getting in touch and we're so pleased to hear you are enjoying ReVolt. Similarly, thanks for the feedback. If you have any specific questions concerning the setup menus, please let us know - we are always happy to help!
Will there be a Mesa Mark V crunch, Mark IV lead, or Mark V Extreme mode? I live in the crunch mode.
Thanks for getting back to us. Ross from Two notes here. At this stage there are no more plans to add additional Preamps to OPUS, however to get these tones, you could try front-loading OPUS with a drive pedal (a TS would be my preference). With the right Post EQ and gain staging of the TSM Preamp and the Drive Pedal, I am 100% confident you can achieve the tone you are looking for! Let me know if you need any more details!
@@RossDaviesTwoNotes Good to know and thanks for the quick reply.
@@nomad100hd You are most welcome! if there is anything else you need, please let me know!
Can you use it as an audio interface from the type c port in your favourite daw? Please answer.
Hi Jason, Thanks for getting in touch, Ross from Two notes here. No, OPUS does not include a built in Audio Interface. However it does feature all the connectivity options to connect to a standard audio interface. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with today.
@@RossDaviesTwoNotes Thank you for the answer. Are you planning to do it because it would be very convenient?
@@jasonmanousos Thanks for getting back to me. At this stage there is no plan to implement this but we will certainly feed your request back to our development team for consideration! If there is anything else I can help you with, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Great format. Very interesting and educative.
Amazing! We're so pleased to hear you enjoyed it!
Niceee update, I really hope they do a standalone in the future that would be even better
Thanks for getting in touch and we're so pleased to hear you like the update. You will be super pleased to hear that standalone is in the works at the moment! Stay tuned for updates in the coming months!
This is the sweetest amp sim "ever been gave". Perfect hands for the sound. Nice part. Nice feel. Can you tell me what I'm hearing in this clip. Guitar? PUP? Straight into OPUS? Nifty50 settings? Poweramp model + settings? CAB settings? Direct recording into interface or DAW? Who is that echo? Thanx for your creation and love.
Thanks for getting in touch. This is a guitar direct into OPUS - the preset is actually available upon product registration as part of our preset pack. There is also a little reverb on the patch. Let us know if you need any more info!
@@RossDaviesTwoNotes This sound alone, is for me, worth the price of admission. All the other groovy features of this box are wise and handy but just icing on the cake. My AX8 has now a real rival and maybe even a new champion. I look forward to putting my fingers on OPUS. Thanx for the magic and the rapid response. The answer could not have been simpler. Love it. Don't be a target.
@@uugr3 Awesome! I am so pleased I could help! Let me know if there is anything else you need!
The moment you guys release a CAB M/OPUS sized pedal that will have the full functionality of a GENOME (including CODEX!), allowing musicians to use same presets in a VST and in a pedal, all Helix, Fractal and similar stuff will fall into water.
Thanks so much for the feedback and we're so pleased to hear you are enjoying GENOME! Right now, we're focussed on building out a killer component selection but rest assured, we are always working on exciting developments here at Two notes!
@@RossDaviesTwoNotes we all believe that once genome reaches it's maturity phase, your next big step will be this (releasing something like an opus that can run genome) 😊. But we will be patient no worries ❤
@@MrAntpre Thanks so much for the support and we really do appreciate it! Rest assured we are feeding all of this back to our development team!
Definitively loving it and waiting for pedal/hardware version of this that will eat up the modeling units competition.
Amazing! We are so pleased to hear you are enjoying GENOME! Rest assured we've got plenty of updates on the horizon so stay tuned! :)
Sounds great, just listening to your voice. Instead of hearing more of the hardware software. Lol 😆 🤣 😂 So I skipped your video and just went to Pete Thorn, lol. Thanks anyway 😊
Thanks for getting in touch - we have a full SoundBite playlist with tone demos if you head over to our channel! If you have any questions, we are here to help.
Very nice.
Awesome! We're so pleased to hear you like it!
I would need to use a DI box when using time based effects post Opus thereby rendering the onboard XLR out useless. That's a big omission and a deal breaker for me.
Hi Kenny, thanks for getting in touch. You are indeed correct if your Time Based FX don't feature a balanced line level output - if you need any other clarification on how this could be setup within the context of your rig, let me know!
I really really like the Genome plugin. I feel like a lot of people are sleeping on this. Paired with the DynIR library it is really powerful.
sheesh you guys are on a roll, loving your product thus far. Keep it going.
Thanks so much! Rest assured, we have no plans of letting up! :)
You ROCK hard ! Genome is the only VST that I use daily now for all my tones and it got me back to play WAY MORE guitar (and even post here on YT) since it's so easy to use... A real plug'n'play tone factory 😍
Amazing! We're so happy to hear this!
Now you just need to make it standalone
Yeah buddy! Twonotes FTW!
Thanks Poo Ninja!
This unit would be amazing if the other 2 channels did not share a common EQ. Even more amazing if it could have 4 programmable presets! 😊
Thanks so much for the feedback. One thing we see a lot of users doing is adding an EQ in the FX loop, and setting the FX loop state accordingly per channel for additional tone shaping options. If you need any support in relation to this, let us know!
free delay is always good news. looking forward to that new DynIR release that you've teased last week during liverstream. great job guys
Glad to hear you like it! The Invaders DynIR release is out now! If you head to our Homepage, there is a link there! :)
@@RossDaviesTwoNotes they sound awesome, I will have to buy 2x12 cab, it's just too good
@@6oundStudio Ha! I agree 100% - its killer!
Excellent, j'ai enfin pu le regarder en replay.
Awesome news! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Are there plans for a hardware floor unit that displays all the functions and sounds of GENOME with footswitches for presets. So similar to the OPUS with all GENOME FEATURES and switchable without an extra device. Thanks.
Thanks for getting in touch! Sadly we cannot comment on future developments at Two notes HQ but at this juncture we are currently focussed on building out the GENOME Component roadmap. If there is anything else I can help you with, please dont hesitate to reach out!
Ha
Thanks for answering my question
Hello!
thanks a lot for doing events like this one! I've learned a lot of cool stuff from you and i'm looking forward to your next DynIR release!
Great talk so excited for the updates 🤘🏽.
If I could get the tone at 41:45, I'd be so happy. I can't get Genome to sound anything like it, though.
Ross from Two notes here. Sorry to hear this - have you tried emulating the signal chain shown in the GUI? What guitar are you using?

Thanks for reaching out. Ross from Two notes here. We're so pleased to hear that you are enjoying GENOME - better yet, both of your requests are being worked on right now! Stay tuned for updates!
honestly didnt care for the preamp sims, still think strymon is supreme. however, just ordered a valve amp and this is going into the fx loop and going to be my eq
How is this with CLEAN channels. That is: growl without drive. I play a LOT of double stopped slap, So I am looking for a modern lightning fast reacting unit, not stuff from the past. But I know you produce v. v. good gear. It’s this or a ‘bass simplifier’ What do you think? Thanks.
Thanks for getting in touch. Ross from Two notes here! You should find this very reactive and either channel 1 with the gain set quite high or channel 2 with a low gain setting should get you the growl you are after! If you have any other questions, let us know!
Scalloped frets too what a guy
Ha! Agreed - that guitar is a beast for sure!
The new update is FANTASTIC! Love the Saber and WahBaby. After a morning jam session thru Genome on my Tele, I had to grab the *NEW* Indy amp immediately. Genome is rapidly becoming one of my favorite go-to's for everyday playing and recording (*not that WOS wasn't already ...!!😉) Can't wait to see what's down the road!
Amazing! We are so pleased to hear you are enjoying it and thanks so much for the great feedback!
